Finally it came my turn to propose a movie for our cineforum. I brought a shortlist of 3 movies to be chosen:
- “Sogni d’oro” by Nanni Moretti
- “The Eternal Sunshine of the spotless mind” by Michel Gondry
- “Persepolis” by Marjane Satrapi
They chose the latter, which I personally found moving and really interesting in its techniques of animation (I think we’re gonna see the same approach, maybe even better, in “Walzer With Bashir”)..
3,5 stars is the sentence.
Now, like a massmarket follower, I’ll go backwards and read the book as well..
Next time is Tozama’s Turn and he says he’s going to surprise us with an odd choice.. we will see..
